Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Implementation Manager to lead the successful integration of our cutting-edge global payroll platform for clients expanding into Romania. This temporary, remote position is crucial for enabling businesses to seamlessly manage their international workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Deel's payroll platform for new clients in Romania.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, configure the system, and ensure data accuracy.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct system testing, provide comprehensive user training, and offer post-go-live support.
• Ensure strict compliance with Romanian payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Work cross-functionally with internal product, sales, and support teams to continuously optimize the implementation process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll system implementation or project management, specifically within payroll.
• Strong understanding of Romanian payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English is essential; strong Romanian language skills are highly desirable.
• Experience working with SaaS platforms and in a remote work environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll solutions or multi-country implementations.
• PMP or other relevant project management certifications.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and their integration with payroll.
