Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join our team as a Payroll Implementation Manager to play a pivotal role in transforming global payroll processes, ensuring seamless and compliant solutions for clients expanding into Romania. This remote position offers the chance to directly contribute to the future of global work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll implementation projects for clients, specifically focusing on Romania.
• Ensure all payroll setups and processes comply with Romanian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and local labor laws.
• Collaborate closely with clients, internal sales, product, and legal teams to gather requirements and configure the payroll system effectively.
• Provide expert guidance and consultation to clients on payroll best practices and system functionalities.
• Conduct client training and offer ongoing support during the implementation and go-live phases.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the implementation process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in payroll implementation, payroll management, or a related consulting role.
• In-depth knowledge of Romanian payroll legislation, social security contributions, and tax regulations.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client implementations simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in both English and Romanian is essential for this role.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or HRIS systems.
• Background working in a Software as a Service (SaaS) company.
• Additional language proficiency.
