Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Implementation Manager for China, where you'll be instrumental in guiding clients through the seamless setup of their payroll operations within the Chinese market using Deel's cutting-edge platform. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine your expertise in local payroll regulations with project management to deliver outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of payroll implementation projects for clients operating in China.
• Configure and customize Deel's platform to accurately reflect client-specific payroll requirements and adhere to all relevant Chinese regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional internal teams (sales, product, engineering, legal) to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide expert consultation and training to clients on Deel's payroll functionalities and best practices for the Chinese market.
• Monitor project progress, manage timelines, and address any challenges to ensure timely and accurate payroll system go-lives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Chinese payroll laws, tax compliance, and social security contributions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in payroll implementation, payroll operations, or a similar client-facing role, with a significant focus on the Chinese market.
• Comprehensive understanding of Chinese payroll legislation, tax regulations, and social benefits.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple complex implementations concurrently.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal) is required.
• Prior experience with HRIS or global payroll software platforms.
