Payroll Implementation Manager

About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Implementation Manager, specializing in Belgium payroll. In this full-time, remote role, you will be instrumental in guiding clients through seamless payroll system implementations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end payroll implementation projects for clients, with a focus on Belgium-specific requirements.
• Configure and test payroll systems according to client specifications and local regulations.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements, define scope, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide expert guidance on Belgium payroll laws, social security, and tax regulations.
• Conduct client training and support during the go-live phase and post-implementation.
• Identify and resolve implementation issues, escalating complex problems as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in payroll implementation or payroll management, specifically with Belgium payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of Belgium labor law, social security contributions, and tax regulations.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
• Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with global payroll platforms or multi-country payroll implementations.
• Fluency in French and/or Dutch is a significant advantage.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Experience working in a SaaS environment.
