Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple international jurisdictions.
• Ensure strict compliance with local and international payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and legal teams to streamline payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage relationships with external payroll providers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and audit procedures for payroll accuracy and data integrity.
• Provide expert guidance and support on payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) in a payroll management role, with significant exposure to global payroll operations.
• In-depth knowledge of international payroll legislation, tax regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency with global payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, while being an integral part of a distributed team.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in Spain, Ireland, Poland, or Portugal.
