About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international payroll tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and legal teams to streamline payroll processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and audit procedures for payroll accuracy and data integrity.
- Provide expert guidance and support on payroll-related inquiries from employees and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for payroll systems and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) in a payroll management role, with significant exposure to global payroll operations.
- In-depth knowledge of international payroll legislation, tax regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency with global payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
- Ability to work remotely and independently, while being an integral part of a distributed team.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience working within a high-growth SaaS or tech company.
- Familiarity with specific payroll platforms used for global employment.
- Professional certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC).
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in Spain, Ireland, Poland, or Portugal.
