Payroll Specialist, France

About the Role

Join Deel's dedicated team as a Payroll Specialist for France, where you will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing, directly impacting employee satisfaction and our operational efficiency in the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the end-to-end monthly payroll process for employees in France, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure full compliance with French labor laws, social security regulations, and tax requirements.
• Process new hires, terminations, changes, and other payroll-related adjustments.
• Prepare and submit mandatory declarations to French authorities (e.g., DSN).
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare relevant reports for internal stakeholders and audits.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries, providing clear and accurate information.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external payroll providers.

Requirements

• Proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) as a Payroll Specialist with a strong focus on French payroll.
• In-depth knowledge of French payroll legislation, social contributions, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English.

• Experience with global payroll operations or a fast-growing international company.
