Payroll Specialist | Mexico

About the Role

Join our team as a Payroll Specialist focusing on Mexico to play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for multiple clients in the region.### Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end payroll process specifically for Mexico.- Ensure accurate processing and recording of multi clients.- Prepare and process a variety of journal entries and verify data.- Process payrolls for stock options, expatriates, and additional incentives like sales commission and awards.- Lead day-to-day activities as an Expert for various clients in the local market.- Identify and implement process improvements.- Participate in Special Projects as needed.- Maintain internal reporting requirements, updating metrics and publishing them as per schedules and on an ad-hoc basis.### Requirements- Fluent English is mandatory.- At least 3 years of payroll experience.- Strong understanding of Mexico Taxes (IMSS, ISN, ISR).- Ability to analyze tax issues, related facts, and circumstances, and recommend solutions.- Knowledge of the annual payroll process and reports.- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.- Knowledge of relevant tax software and authority portals (SUA, IDSE, etc.).- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.### Nice-to-Haves- Specific Mexican Payroll knowledge and skills are a distinct advantage.
