Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for employees in Mexico, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local regulations and company policies.
• Manage payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing clear and timely resolutions.
• Reconcile payroll data and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and other teams to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist with a strong focus on Mexico payroll processing.
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements (IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT).
• Proficiency with payroll software and HRIS systems; experience with global payroll platforms is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders.
