People Operations Associate

About the Role

Join Oklo's growing team as a People Operations Associate to support and scale our People function, ideal for an early-career HR professional ready to expand their impact.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Workday HRIS, including employee transactions, data updates, and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity across HR systems and support HR/talent operations.
• Assist with compliance, risk management, and I-9 administration.
• Develop and maintain People metrics, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
• Support benefits administration, employee programs, and performance management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in HR, People Operations, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Workday HRIS, including administration, reporting, and data auditing.
• Strong understanding of HR data management and system governance.
• Ability to navigate Workday independently.
• Must be located in the Eastern Standard Timezone.

Nice-to-Haves

• SHRM-CP or PHR certification (or in progress).
• Experience supporting multi-state employee populations.
• Experience in a technology, engineering, manufacturing, or high-growth startup environment.
• Greenhouse or similar ATS experience.
• Experience supporting benefits administration and employee relations processes.
• Experience creating workforce analytics dashboards.
