About the Role

Join Joko as a People Operations Manager to ensure a seamless and compliant employee experience as we rapidly scale our global team.

Manage core people processes end-to-end, including payroll, contracts, benefits, and compliance across France, Spain, and the US.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintain accurate HR documentation for audits and due diligence.
Enhance HRIS and people data accuracy, building reliable reports for planning and reviews.
Document and automate People Operations processes, leveraging AI to improve efficiency.
Deliver a positive and human onboarding and offboarding experience for all employees.
Partner with Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, and other departments on People Operations matters.

5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR administration within a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
Strong expertise in People Operations topics, with depth in at least one area (payroll, compliance, HR systems, or HR projects).
Proficiency in end-to-end payroll management and modern HRIS/payroll tools.
Solid understanding of French labor law; international HR experience in Spain or the US is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to reliability.
Strong analytical skills with a rigorous approach to data accuracy.
An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Fluency in French and English is required; Spanish is a plus.
