About the Role

Lead our permit operations and customer success efforts as a Bilingual Permit Operations Lead, playing a crucial role in accelerating construction projects across the nation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing permit status, timelines, and requirements.
• Oversee the end-to-end permit application lifecycle, including research, form preparation, documentation, and submission.
• Develop and mentor junior team members, providing training, coaching, and feedback.
• Generate detailed reports on permit progress for customers and stakeholders.
• Proactively monitor and expedite permit approvals by engaging with authorities.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Ensure all permit applications are accurate and compliant with jurisdictional standards.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in construction permitting, project management, or a related role.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Extensive experience with residential or commercial permitting in Quebec, including direct work with municipalities.
• Strong understanding of permitting processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer relationship management.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.

Nice-to-Haves

• 2+ years of leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
• Background in customer success, customer experience, or sales.
• Experience with SaaS or tech-driven environments.
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies.
