About the Role

Join Vercel as a Platform Architect, where you will be a deeply technical partner to our most strategic customers, guiding critical architectural decisions to ensure enterprise-grade performance, scale, and reliability on our platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategic customers to guide architectural decisions for novel and complex workloads.
• Lead initial deployments, ensuring production readiness and optimal performance from the outset.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for Vercel's most strategic accounts, shaping ambitious projects.
• Proactively assess customer architectures, identify risks, and optimize for long-term scale, performance, and growth.
• Distill field learnings into reusable architectural patterns and best practices for broader adoption.
• Enable Vercel's Sales, Professional Services, and Developer Success teams with technical knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, web platforms, and modern development practices.
• Demonstrated experience in guiding architectural decisions for enterprise-grade performance, scale, and reliability.
• Ability to lead complex technical deployments and ensure production readiness.
• Strong customer-facing skills, with experience engaging and influencing strategic accounts.
• A track record of distilling complex technical knowledge into scalable best practices.
• Ability to work remotely within the EMEA region (Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom).
