Postgres Tools Manager

About the Role

Join Supabase as a Postgres Tools Manager to lead a talented engineering team focused on building and maintaining critical Postgres tooling. This role offers the opportunity to shape the direction of key components like CDC, connection pooling, and extensions while getting hands-on with code.

Responsibilities

• Manage rollout and development of pg_replicate
• Define and drive our connection pooling direction
• Own the strategy for foreign data wrappers, including lightweight API integrations and deeper analytics work
• Oversee maintenance and direction of key extensions
• Support and grow a team of engineers building foundational Postgres tooling

Requirements

• Deep Postgres experience (extensions, internals, performance)
• Experience leading technical teams
• Excellent communication and async collaboration skills
