Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

About the Role

Join Halcyon, the industry's first dedicated, adaptive security platform focused on stopping ransomware, as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect. In this critical role, you will combine deep security expertise with business acumen to demonstrate the immense value of our cyber resilience solution to enterprise customers across Switzerland and the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with sales teams to drive revenue and advance opportunities through the entire sales cycle.
• Conduct ransomware readiness assessments and align customer expectations with the Halcyon platform capabilities.
• Advise and educate executive stakeholders (CxO level) and channel partners on the technical value proposition and architecture of the solution.
• Manage and coordinate technical demonstrations, Proof of Value (POV) efforts, including endpoint testing and lab configuration.
• Interface with Product Management and Engineering to relay customer feature requests and ensure service delivery excellence post-sale.
• Represent Halcyon as a thought leader by supporting marketing efforts, including speaking at events and writing industry articles.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in a pre-sales role within the cybersecurity industry (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer).
• Proven success leading complex technical evaluations, demos, and POCs with enterprise customers, particularly in regulated industries.
• Strong technical foundation covering endpoint protection, ransomware resilience, cloud security, threat detection, and incident response.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical value to both engineering teams and C-suite executives.
• Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% across Switzerland and surrounding DACH countries.

Nice-to-Haves

• Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, and/or Python.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications (GCFA, GCIH).
• Experience with APIs and data integrations within large enterprise environments.
