Pre-Sales Solutions Architect

About the Role

Join Halcyon as a Pre-Sales Solutions Architect to combine your business and security expertise, advising customers on our cutting-edge cyber resilience solution and redefining the future of cybersecurity. This role is pivotal in driving revenue, ensuring customer satisfaction, and shaping product development.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the value of Halcyon’s cyber resilience solution to C-level executives and key stakeholders.
• Advise and educate customers and channel partners on the Halcyon platform and its capabilities.
• Partner with sales and account management to drive revenue and advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
• Conduct requirements analysis, coordinate technical demonstrations, and manage Proof-of-Concept (POC) efforts.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product Management, and Engineering to ensure customer satisfaction and align product development with customer needs.
• Stay current with industry trends and provide thought leadership to key customer stakeholders.
• Support marketing initiatives to enhance Halcyon's brand awareness.
• Continuously develop technical capabilities, soft skills, and security-specific knowledge.

Requirements

• 8+ years of pre-sales experience in the cybersecurity industry (e.g., Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer).
• Strong technical expertise in modern security platforms and concepts such as Cloud Security, Endpoint Defense, Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, Incident Response, and Endpoint Management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and executive interaction skills.
• Experience with data consumption capabilities, including APIs, scripting, and data exchange formats.
• Proven business development experience in a consulting or services environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent practical experience/technical training.
• Ability to travel up to 40% within the DACH region.
• Residency in Germany, Switzerland, or Austria, located within approximately one hour of a major airport.

Nice-to-Haves

• Scripting proficiency in languages like PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, or Python.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CEH, GIAC GCFA, or GCIH.
