About the Role

Join our remote-first team, preferably in the Pacific Time Zone (Canada or United States), as a Principal Data Engineer. You will lead the technical vision and architecture of our Data organization, solving Docker's most complex data engineering challenges at scale to unlock critical data insights and enable rapid business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision and architecture for the Data organization within the infrastructure group.
• Address critical data strategy challenges by building and launching scalable software systems and processes.
• Drive technical leadership across data infrastructure, analytics platforms, and revenue-enabling data products.
• Mentor senior data engineers and collaborate with stakeholders across the company.
• Architect systems that support millions of developers and containers at scale.
• Establish data governance frameworks to enable rapid business growth and decision-making.
