About the Role

As a Principal Product Designer (IC Director) at Webflow, you will lead our transformative AI initiatives, fundamentally reshaping how users build and interact with the web. This is a unique opportunity to drive platform-wide innovation, empowering teams with new levels of sophistication and personalization.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambitious, strategic design initiatives focused on creating agentic AI experiences, from new product features to component-based design systems and tooling.
• Define and articulate a compelling product vision that enables powerful creation, automation, and orchestration across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Engineering, Brand, Marketing, Sales, and Data to shape strategic roadmaps and ensure successful go-to-market execution.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate innovative design concepts to validate hypotheses, clarify strategic directions, and build team alignment.
• Conduct deep dives into data, user journeys, and technical architecture to build experiences and tools that cater to diverse team sizes and roles.

Requirements

• Proven track record of launching impactful, user-centric products that advance brand vision and resonate with users.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels, defining long-term vision while also excelling at detailed design execution.
• Strong experience driving alignment across complex cross-functional teams and product areas.
• Demonstrated ability to distill complex, technical concepts into simple, highly crafted, and intuitive user experiences.
• Expertise in leading design efforts for platform-level transformations, not just feature development.
