Project Manager, Accounting

About the Role

Join our EMEA Accounting Operations team as a Project Manager to lead and optimize critical accounting initiatives across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to drive significant impact in a fast-paced, global environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and new market integrations within the EMEA region.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, set timelines, and manage resources effectively.
• Collaborate closely with finance, operations, legal, and technology teams to ensure project alignment and successful execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and key decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project management, specifically within accounting or finance operations.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience working in a global or EMEA-focused environment.
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, distributed team setting across multiple time zones.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools.

Nice-to-Haves

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications.
• Experience with SaaS companies or high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with global payroll or HR platforms.
• Fluency in additional European languages.

Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time, remote position based in one of the following EMEA countries: France, Israel, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Denmark, Poland, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Latvia, Estonia, or Ireland.
