Public Relations & Communications Manager

About the Role

As a Public Relations & Communications Manager for APAC, you will lead the development and execution of integrated external communications strategies to advance Kraken's brand and reputation across the Asia-Pacific region. This role is crucial for expanding our thought leadership and engaging key stakeholders in a dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive external communications strategies aligned with business goals for the Asia-Pacific region.
• Lead initiatives to expand Kraken's thought leadership, reaching new audiences through innovative storytelling.
• Cultivate and expand Kraken’s network of spokespeople in APAC, crafting strategic messaging for executive, product, and segment levels.
• Prepare diverse communications materials, including company announcements, talking points, media statements, and briefing documents.
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business partners, marketing teams, and external agencies.
• Integrate social media-first thinking into media relations and content strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of proven experience in leading and executing communications programs and initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to be highly proactive, determined, and results-driven.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and communications strategy skills, with the ability to translate complex topics and capture senior leadership's views.
• Experience working effectively with geographically dispersed teams and managing complex communications challenges.
• Proven experience working directly with executives to enhance their presence, deliver strong messages, and improve presentation/interview skills.
• Track record of success in leading, mentoring, and scaling communications teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The PR and Communications team is responsible for managing Kraken’s global reputation and overseeing all aspects of its external communications strategy and execution.
