Public Sector Outbound Sales Development Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage outbound lead generation for the Public Sector segment through cold calling, emailing, and social outreach.
• Research and identify prospective customers in government and education industries to understand their fleet management needs.
• Educate prospects on how Fleetio can help them achieve their goals and drive ARR growth.
• Source new leads and develop detailed lead profiles in Salesforce.
• Qualify prospect accounts and schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives.
• Assist in strategic efforts to create qualified sales opportunities.
• Develop and refine sales skills transferable to future growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Public Sector sales opportunities.
• High proficiency in selling SaaS and cloud-based solutions to government customers.
• Self-motivated with an outstanding work ethic and a resilient, fearless, and persistent approach.
• Coachable, eager to learn, and a strong team player.
• Problem solver with strong attention to detail.
• Must reside in the United States.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with the Fleetio tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Slack).
• SaaS experience is preferred but not required.
