QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for web and API applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working proactively with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform across various international contexts.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, preferably within a fast-paced SaaS or product-led environment.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used for test automation (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman).
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience with API testing and database testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a remote, globally distributed team environment.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, remote position based in Serbia, within our EMEA Engineering team. You will be an integral part of a dynamic and globally distributed team, contributing to a platform that supports workers and businesses in over 150 countries.
