QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Join our EMEA Engineering team as a QA Automation Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will build and maintain robust automated test solutions that directly impact our users' experience globally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and API applications.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects with clear, concise documentation.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to integrate testing into the continuous delivery pipeline.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and best practices across the engineering organization.
• Participate in code reviews for test automation scripts to ensure high quality and maintainability.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C#) for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with API testing and familiarity with RESTful services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of performance, security, or load testing.
• Experience working in a remote, distributed team environment.
