QA Automation Engineer

About the Role

Join our EMEA Engineering team as a QA Automation Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects to development teams.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Advocate for quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java) used for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with performance, security, or API testing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.
