QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear, actionable details.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and test strategies.
• Participate in test plan reviews and provide feedback on requirements and design specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency with at least one modern test automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) and a programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed team environment across EMEA.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with performance, security, or accessibility testing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Previous experience in the FinTech or HR Tech industry.
