QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and integrate testing early in the development lifecycle.
• Identify, report, and track defects, working with engineers to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in developing automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Solid programming skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment across EMEA time zones.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
