QA Engineer

About the Role

Join Tilt as our first dedicated QA Engineer to establish and drive quality across our innovative web and mobile platform. This is an exciting opportunity to shape our quality assurance strategy, ensuring a human, communal, and alive shopping experience for our users.

Responsibilities

• Think like our users, understand the intent behind new features, and spot critical issues that truly matter.
• Work closely with Product Owners, designers, and developers to ensure rapid issue resolution.
• Establish and drive quality across our entire platform, covering both web and mobile applications.
• Work independently to design comprehensive testing scenarios.
• Ensure all feature requirements are testable and clearly defined.
• Guide the development team in building features with quality as a core principle.
• Focus initially on hands-on testing of our web product.
• Identify high-value areas for transitioning into test automation using modern, industry-standard frameworks.
• Continuously expand test coverage across our mobile applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Quality Assurance, ideally in a role focused on establishing quality processes.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the QA function.
• Strong understanding of user-centric testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience in designing and executing detailed testing scenarios for web products.
• Familiarity with modern test automation concepts and frameworks.
• Full right to work in Poland (visa sponsorship is not offered for this role).
• This is a full-time, remote position based in Poland.
