Quantitative Software Engineer (Rust/C++)

About the Role

Join our team as a Quantitative Rust Engineer to shape the trajectory of our Prop Trading desk. You will be embedded within the trading team, designing and improving essential infrastructure for trade execution, signal generation, and strategy validation, pioneering new solutions in a dynamic market.

Responsibilities

• Drive the full software development process for trading strategies, from defining engineering needs and implementation to actively managing live performance.
• Collaborate closely with traders to exchange ideas, implement new features, and improve established strategies.
• Act as the dedicated specialist responsible for pioneering new trading strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years focused on developing components within front-office trading systems.
• Proven ability in designing robust systems and optimising for minimal latency.
• Direct experience working with Crypto, Foreign Exchange (FX), or equity products.
• Strong proficiency in Rust and Python.
• A solid mathematical background.
• The drive and capability to own initiatives from initial idea through to successful completion and iteration.
• Prior involvement in pricing strategies and their practical application in trading.
• Demonstrable experience in developing and deploying low-latency solutions.
