About the Role
Join our dynamic EMEA Sales Development team as a Sales Development Representative, focusing on the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market. This remote role, based in the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, or Italy, is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our growth, identifying and engaging with potential clients for our global HR and payroll platform.
Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted outbound prospecting to identify and qualify new business opportunities within the SMB segment across the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and Italy.
- Engage potential clients through various channels, including email, phone calls, and social media, to understand their needs and pain points.
- Articulate the value proposition of our platform and generate interest in our solutions.
- Schedule qualified meetings and demonstrations for Account Executives, ensuring a smooth handover.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and optimize outreach efforts.
Requirements
- Proven passion for sales and a strong desire to build a career in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient, with a strong work ethic and ability to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand customer business challenges.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and engaging with prospects.
- Must be based in and have legal working rights for the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, or Italy.
Nice-to-Haves
- Previous experience in a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR) role, ideally within a SaaS company.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft).
- Additional language proficiency in Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese is a significant plus.
- Understanding of HR, payroll, or fintech industries.
