About the Role

Join Vercel's Sales Engineering Team as an EMEA Sales Engineer, where you'll combine your technical expertise with persuasive sales skills to guide enterprises in adopting our cutting-edge frontend platform. This role is crucial in enabling innovative digital projects globally and driving strategic deals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to plan, prepare, and complete strategic deals in complex sales cycles, with a focus on value-based selling.
• Answer technical questions and provide expert guidance to enterprise prospects.
• Advise on modern web development best practices and standard methodologies.
• Identify and uncover current technical needs and challenges of prospects.
• Explore and validate potential solutions using the Vercel platform.
• Support the project's benefits and viability for enterprise prospects.

Requirements

• Proven background in JavaScript and a broad understanding of modern web development approaches and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to combine deep technical knowledge with persuasive sales skills.
• Experience in a pre-sales or Sales Engineering role, ideally within a SaaS or platform environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Location & Work Arrangement

This is a remote position for candidates based in the United Kingdom or Germany, serving the EMEA region.
