Sales Operations Analyst

Join Chainguard as a remote Sales Operations Analyst in the United States, a pivotal role where you'll partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to enhance operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker passionate about data-driven enablement and process execution, driving automation and ensuring robust sales planning.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor and operational partner to Sales Leaders and Account Executives, providing hands-on tactical support and strategic insights to improve sales productivity.
• Translate business needs into actionable operational processes and analytics.
• Manage US-based territory optimization, balancing, and realignment, owning the end-to-end account assignment process to ensure equitable and efficient coverage.
• Monitor and maintain territory data integrity in Salesforce and related systems, identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline the territory management lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce pipeline management best practices in partnership with Sales Leadership, monitoring pipeline health and stage hygiene to ensure forecast accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for key workflows.
• Educate sales teams on policies, territory definitions, and system usage, driving adherence to internal rules of engagement (ROE) and supporting remediation of violations.
• Partner with GTM Systems on enhancements to Salesforce and connected tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Sales Operations role, serving as a key business partner to sales leadership and account executives.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for data-driven enablement and process execution.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency across sales planning, territory management, and pipeline governance.
• Experience with territory optimization, balancing, and realignment, including managing account assignment processes.
• Proficiency in Salesforce for data integrity, system usage, and enhancements.
• Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline sales operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to advise, educate, and enforce policies with sales teams.
• Experience in developing process documentation and ensuring policy governance.
