About the Role
Join our rapidly growing sales team as a Senior Account Executive focusing on the DACH Market, where you'll play a pivotal role in converting qualified leads into valued Paddle customers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive significant revenue growth and contribute to our vision of becoming the go-to solution for SaaS businesses worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, leveraging both BDR-generated leads and self-sourced opportunities.
- Own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to conducting product demonstrations and closing deals.
- Develop a deep mastery of Paddle’s product, its features, and the industry landscape to articulate our value effectively to CTOs, Heads of Product, and CEOs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Success teams to optimize sales strategies for each opportunity.
- Provide valuable insights from the sales process to inform product roadmap and refine sales techniques.
- Continuously refine sales skills through regular training sessions and develop as a thought leader in the industry.
- Mentor new Account Executives as they onboard and integrate into the team.
Requirements
- Extensive closing experience in a software or SaaS business, including managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise-level deals.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, with a consultative and value-based selling approach.
- Experience selling highly technical products or services.
- Excellent communication and liaison skills across various channels (in-person, phone, email).
- Entrepreneurial mindset, thriving on solving complex challenges within a fast-growing company.
- Fluency in German is essential for engaging with the DACH market.
Nice-to-Haves
- Prior experience in the payments space or selling B2B SaaS solutions.
- Experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
- Ability to sell effectively to technical personas such as CTOs, Heads of Product, and Technical Founders.
- Familiarity with eCommerce providers (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, PayPal, Cleverbridge) and subscription management services (e.g., Chargebee, Zuora, Recurly).
- Comfortable operating in an unstructured, self-starting environment.
