About the Role
Join Paddle as a Senior Account Executive during a period of unprecedented growth, where you'll play a critical role in converting qualified leads into delighted customers and significantly contribute to our revenue targets. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales specialist to drive impact in the SaaS or Payments industry.
Responsibilities
- Build pipeline from leads provided by Business Development Representatives and Marketing, as well as self-sourced opportunities.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying to conducting product demonstrations and closing deals.
- Master Paddle’s product features and industry landscape to effectively articulate its value to CTOs, Heads of Product, and CEOs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Success teams to determine the most effective sales approaches.
- Identify product insights from both Paddle and competitor offerings to inform sales strategies and product roadmap.
- Continuously refine sales skills through regular Account Executive training sessions.
- Mentor new Account Executives as they onboard and learn the sales process.
Requirements
- Extensive closing experience in a software or SaaS business, including managing multi-threaded sales processes and enterprise deals.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas, utilizing consultative and value-based selling methodologies.
- Experience selling highly technical products or services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with prospective clients via various channels (in-person, phone, email).
- An entrepreneurial mindset, thriving on solving complex challenges within a fast-growing company environment.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience in the payments space or selling B2B SaaS.
- Prior experience at a growth-stage internet or software company.
- Experience selling to technical decision-makers such as CTOs, Heads of Product, or Technical Founders.
- Familiarity with eCommerce providers (e.g., Stripe, Braintree, PayPal) and subscription management services (e.g., Chargebee, Zuora).
- Ability to operate effectively in an unstructured, self-starting environment.
