About the Role
This pivotal role empowers you to drive significant revenue growth by managing and expanding relationships with Docker's most strategic clients. You'll be instrumental in shaping our market presence and achieving ambitious sales targets within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify and close new business opportunities within assigned strategic accounts.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful deployments.
- Negotiate and close complex enterprise-level deals.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in strategic or enterprise software sales, consistently exceeding quotas.
- Demonstrated success selling SaaS or cloud-native solutions to large enterprises.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and ability to manage complex deals from prospecting to close.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a preference for candidates in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with containerization, DevOps, or developer tools.
- Experience selling to technical audiences, such as developers or architects.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
