Senior AI Enforcement Analyst, Safety Operations

Responsibilities

• Own the quality of automated enforcement outcomes by diagnosing system underperformance and making critical production decisions.
• Act as the primary translator between policy and technology by crafting prompts, defining evaluation criteria, and curating high-quality datasets.
• Monitor model evolution to identify concept drift, policy changes, or emerging threats that require system updates.
• Develop monitoring strategies for niche communities and edge cases to ensure enforcement systems reflect Reddit's complexity.
• Safeguard model integrity by flagging risks and recommending mitigations in partnership with ML and Product stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in Trust & Safety with hands-on exposure to automated or scaled enforcement systems.
• Strong AI literacy with an understanding of how LLM-based and classifier-driven systems behave in production.
• Proven ability to evaluate errors, interpret metrics, and connect model behavior back to policy intent.
• Experience with content moderation, policy interpretation, and real-time incident response in complex environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical ML teams and strategic leadership stakeholders.

Nice-to-Haves

• Proficiency in SQL or Python for data investigation and assessment.
• Experience with AI safety concepts such as evaluation design, data quality, and labeling strategies.
