Senior Analytics Engineer

About the Role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will drive significant business impact by shaping our data infrastructure, developing robust data models, and promoting best practices in analytics engineering. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to deliver high-value data solutions and provide informal mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain complex, scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt.
• Expose datasets effectively in BI tooling to enable robust self-service analytics.
• Perform simple data ingestion tasks using no-code tools and ensure streamlined data flows.
• Add comprehensive metadata to datasets, including documentation, data quality checks, and sensitive data masking.
• Activate data by pushing it from Snowflake into other operational tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Analytics Engineer, ideally in a senior capacity.
• Expertise in creating and maintaining complex data models using dbt.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake and BI tooling for data exposure.
• Experience with data ingestion, metadata management (documentation, quality checks, masking).
• Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and provide informal mentorship.

Location & Work Arrangement

• This is a full-time, remote position.
• Candidates must be located in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, or Portugal.
