Senior Analytics Engineer

About the Role

Join our mission-driven GTM Data team to build the data foundations that power Canva's global B2B growth, shaping strategic decisions and unlocking scalable success.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models transforming raw data into reliable, business-ready assets.
• Define and standardize key GTM metrics such as leads, pipeline, adoption, retention, and expansion in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Own data quality end-to-end, implementing automated testing, documentation, and observability.
• Mentor analysts and partner teams on data modeling standards to foster a culture of self-serve analytics.
• Proactively identify and address technical debt, performance issues, and reporting sprawl.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or Advanced Analytics, with a proven track record of building production systems.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and modern data stack technologies (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery).
• Experience with GTM or revenue data, understanding the commercial context of models (lead scoring, pipeline, bookings, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability in structured problem-solving and translating business questions into precise data solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to explain technical choices clearly.
