Senior Back-End Engineer

About the Role

Join our team as a Senior Back-End Engineer, specializing in Forward Deployed solutions. In this unique role, you'll combine deep technical expertise with direct client engagement to build and implement robust back-end systems that directly address customer needs and drive product adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs.
• Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement custom integrations and extensions for client-specific use cases.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in back-end software development.
• Proficiency in a modern back-end language (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, Java).
• Strong experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and API design (REST/GraphQL).
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with external stakeholders or clients.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in a "Forward Deployed" or Solutions Engineering role.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Work Arrangement

This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates based in the USA.
