About the RoleJoin our remote, full-time team as a Senior Backend Engineer for the Breakout Prop Backend. In this critical role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems for a cutting-edge crypto-native prop trading platform, contributing to the future of digital asset trading across Europe, Canada, Brazil, and the UK.### Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services for a crypto trading environment.- Ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical trading infrastructure.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.- Contribute to architectural decisions and system design.### Requirements- Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer, preferably in high-throughput or financial systems.- Strong proficiency in at least one modern backend language (e.g., Go, Rust, Java, Python).- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.- Solid understanding of secure coding practices and data integrity.- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, international team environment.### About the TeamThe Breakout team is focused on building a crypto-native prop trading platform, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in digital asset markets.
