Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and robust backend services using Node.js.
• Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging various AWS services.
• Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and other engineering teams to deliver new features and improvements.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of our global payroll and HR platform.
• Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of our engineering practices.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js development.
• Deep expertise in designing, deploying, and managing applications on AWS (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS).
• Proven track record of building and maintaining highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive projects independently from conception to deployment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
