About the Role

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Implement and manage cloud-native solutions leveraging various AWS services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js development.
• Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS).
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design (RESTful, GraphQL), and microservices.
• Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile.
