About the Role

Join Goodnotes as our first Senior Chaos Engineer to build and lead a world-class chaos engineering program from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to proactively identify and address system weaknesses, ensuring the resilience of our global digital productivity platform.

Responsibilities

• Define the chaos engineering strategy, including tools, safety practices, and long-term roadmap.
• Design and run fault injection experiments across mobile and backend systems.
• Work across all layers of our system to design controlled, creative failure scenarios.
• Help build a culture of reliability through experimentation and learning.

Requirements

• Proven experience in chaos engineering or a related reliability engineering role.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures.
• Ability to design and implement complex fault injection scenarios.
• Experience with both mobile and backend systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
