Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Kubernetes

About the Role

Join our growing engineering team as a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage our next-generation, highly available Kubernetes infrastructure across major cloud providers. This is an exciting opportunity to drive best practices in cloud-native architecture and automation for a globally recognized platform.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain highly scalable, resilient, and secure Kubernetes clusters (e.g., EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Develop and enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Pulumi for cloud resource provisioning.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure high system observability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD pipelines specifically related to infrastructure deployment and application rollouts.
• Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex production issues related to networking, storage, and cluster performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes administration, including networking (CNI), storage (CSI), security policies, and cluster upgrades.
• Proven proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go for automation tasks.
• Experience managing infrastructure on at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools and compliance frameworks within a cloud-native environment.
• Contributions to open-source cloud-native projects.
• Experience supporting high-traffic, globally distributed applications.
