Senior Customer Success Manager - EMEA

About the Role

Join Chainguard as a Senior Customer Success Manager, where you'll be the primary post-sales contact for enterprise clients, driving their success from onboarding through adoption and ensuring they realize maximum value from our solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical onboarding process for new enterprise customers, developing tailored onboarding plans.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to CISOs.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for customer renewal and expansion while proactively managing churn risks.
• Educate customers on product features, best practices, and security principles in collaboration with the Edu team.
• Develop deep technical expertise in Chainguard and stay current with industry trends to help customers optimize their usage.
• Act as the voice of the customer internally, advocating for their needs to Product, Engineering, and Sales teams.
• Partner with Technical Support and Customer Engineering to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Professional Services, or Technical Account Management.
• Fluency in English is required; professional fluency in German is preferred.
• Domain knowledge in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Security, DevSecOps, AppSec, security infrastructure, containers, regulatory compliance, vulnerability management, or software development lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of a customer portfolio, act with autonomy, and make key decisions to drive customer outcomes.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to process improvement.
• Strong emotional intelligence, priority management skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Nice-to-Haves

• Previous experience in an early-stage startup environment.
• Hands-on technical experience in cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, Linux, or related security domains.
• Passion for technology and cybersecurity.
