Senior Data Science Manager, Marketing

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to head our Marketing & Business Development Data Science team, where you will transform ad-hoc reporting into a strategic partnership that scales our marketing efforts. You will lead a talented team to drive high-confidence, data-driven decisions that shape the future of our platform.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of data scientists focused on marketing and business development.
• Serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape roadmaps and growth strategies.
• Oversee the development of causal inference models and experimental frameworks to measure campaign quality, ROI, and incremental lift.
• Ensure data integrity by managing ETL processes, reporting dashboards, and foundational data models for LTV and attribution.
• Drive the adoption of self-service analytics capabilities across the organization to empower cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing product analytics teams of up to 10 data scientists.
• Deep expertise in causal inference, A/B testing, metric governance, and product strategy.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python or R for hands-on analysis and technical leadership.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data systems into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance team productivity and code quality.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working within consumer technology products or large-scale online marketplaces.
• Proven track record of building and scaling data foundations from the ground up.
• Experience in developing advanced predictive LTV (Lifetime Value) models.
