Senior FP&A Analyst, Corporate Finance

About the Role

As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in keeping GitLab predictable and well-capitalized by transforming complex financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership. You will own critical planning and forecasting processes while leveraging AI and automation to drive efficiency in a fast-paced, all-remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue forecasting and planning, including analysis of annual recurring revenue, churn, and expansion.
• Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support corporate deliverables and executive decision-making.
• Drive process improvements by replacing manual workflows with scalable, automated, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Prepare clear financial commentary and insights for CFO, Board, and audit committee reviews.
• Partner cross-functionally with accounting and compensation teams to ensure alignment on planning and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in corporate financial planning and analysis with a focus on revenue forecasting and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of SaaS revenue concepts and key business performance drivers.
• Demonstrated ability to build accurate, scalable, and clear financial models.
• Experience with financial workflow automation and a strong interest in applying AI tools to enhance analytical processes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide transparent updates and collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.
