Senior Front-End Engineer

About the Role

Join our dynamic, remote-first team as a Senior Front-End Engineer, where you'll be instrumental in crafting exceptional user experiences for our global platform. Responsibilities

• Lead the development of robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end engineers to define and implement new features.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with back-end services.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Vuex).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques and accessibility standards.
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced, agile, or startup environment.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
