About the Team

The AI Powered:Workflow Catalog team is at the forefront of GitLab's AI strategy, responsible for creating the foundational platform where users can easily find, explore, and integrate AI agents, workflows, and tools into their DevSecOps processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance robust and scalable frontend applications using Vue.js.
• Collaborate closely with product designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to define, design, and implement new features for the Workflow Catalog.
• Ensure the high performance, responsiveness, and overall quality of the user interface.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and establish best practices for frontend development within the team.
• Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Frontend Engineer, with a strong focus on Vue.js development.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., Vuex, Pinia).
• Solid understanding of consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and practices (e.g., Jest, Vue Test Utils).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote, distributed team setting.

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates located in Canada, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
