Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, CRM

About the Role

Join our CRM/Workflow team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build critical features that empower creator and brand-led communities on Circle's all-in-one platform. You will contribute across the entire development lifecycle, from defining tasks to deploying solutions that enhance member engagement and platform functionality.

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously to develop and improve features for our web application using Ruby on Rails and React.
• Collaborate closely with product leaders and designers to create a world-class user experience.
• Break down large epics into actionable tasks, ensuring thorough development, testing, and deployment.
• Conduct code reviews, push updates to production, and manage feature flag releases.
• Drive continuous improvement of the codebase and resolve bugs efficiently.
• Prioritize speed of iteration while maintaining high code quality and user experience standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience with complex web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, MySQL/PostgreSQL, ReactJS, TypeScript, CSS/SCCS, and TailwindCSS.
• Ability to build small to medium features end-to-end across the stack, with potential to excel in either frontend or backend.
• Experience working effectively in a fully distributed remote team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects, making sound architectural, product, and design decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment with a degree of ambiguity.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with technologies such as Elasticsearch, Sidekiq, Kafka, LLM APIs, Graph Databases, or Data Science.
• Previous experience with community platforms, CRM, workflow automation solutions, or recommendation systems.
• Experience working in the creator space or at a fast-growing startup.
• A proven track record of quickly adopting new technologies and skills.
