Senior Fullstack Engineer - Product Marketing

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in influencing the product roadmap and your career objectives.

Requirements

• Strong experience with fullstack development, including React, TypeScript, Webpack, and JavaScript testing frameworks.
• Proficiency in Go or similar programming languages.
• Demonstrated experience building out AI-driven workflows, involving LLMs and workflow automation.
• Proven ability to deliver projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to shipping products, in a self-driven manner.
• Experience developing and operating software within Kubernetes environments.
• Track record of writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices to ensure quality, support scale, and enable rapid iteration.
• A motivated self-starter with a bias towards action, producing work incrementally and iterating quickly.
• Passion for creating intuitive products that effectively meet customer needs.
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving, breaking down complex challenges into modular solutions and delivering MVPs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, essential for a fully remote team setup.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience as a user of Grafana and Prometheus in operational roles or personal projects.
• Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems, or a strong desire to learn.
• Familiarity with on-call duties, SRE tasks, or the concept of infrastructure as code.

About the Team

The Product Marketing team, embedded within the R&D department alongside Product and Engineering, is responsible for articulating the value of Grafana's offerings globally. You will be instrumental in building a next-generation product knowledge base – a system designed to effortlessly capture, organize, and generate up-to-date content using AI. This system will ensure consistent and accurate product information is available everywhere, to every audience, solving a classic content management challenge at scale.
