Senior Immigration Specialist

About the Role

Join Deel's dynamic team as a Senior Immigration Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in enabling global talent mobility by ensuring timely and compliant immigration processes, particularly for Spain.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of immigration cases, adhering to SLAs and internal quality standards.
• Coordinate and schedule calls, consultations, and interviews related to immigration processes.
• Deliver outstanding client service through clear, professional communication and proactive case management.
• Maintain compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations in assigned countries, specifically Spain.
• Assess right-to-work requirements for Employee of Records (EORs).
• Process immigration-related administrative tasks, including preparing and submitting applications to local authorities.
• Liaise with local providers to complete immigration assessments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on country-specific visa processes and compliance requirements.
• Audit, maintain, and update internal and external mobility-related knowledge in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Provide support to EORs and clients for mobility-related questions or concerns through all available communication channels.
• Manage the entire mobility lifecycle for non-nationals, including work authorization checks, visa processing, renewals, and cancellations.
• Ensure the quality of mobility operations in assigned countries.
• Work on special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as an Immigration Specialist or in similar roles.
• Strong understanding of Spanish visa processes and immigration compliance requirements.
• Proven experience in processing immigration applications and interacting with local authorities.
• Excellent client service and professional communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex mobility lifecycles efficiently.
